"There are so many things in common between China and Japan ... (for example) our cooperation on new energy is a very large topic ... we should discuss the issue of nuclear reactors as a family because we are only a short distance away. You should tell us your experience and lessons generously, and we will share our latest progress with you frankly."

Zhao Qizheng, director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference
