CIPG leaders visit Japan before Beijing-Tokyo Forum

A delegation from China International Publishing Group (CIPG) paid a visit to Japan from July 6 to 10 in preparation for the upcoming 12th Beijing-Tokyo Forum.The delegation led by CIPG President Zhou Mingwei met with a group of Japanese diplomats, including Japan's Vice Foreign Minister Shinsuke Sugiyama, former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, former UN Administrator Yasushi Akashi and former Japanese ambassador to China Yuji Miyamoto, to discuss the preparatory work for the 12th Beijing-Tokyo Forum. The event is scheduled to be held September 25-28 in Tokyo and will be jointly organized by the CIPG and Japanese think tank Genron NPO.
