"Due to political factors and some media reports, Japanese investors tend to believe that the Chinese economy might collapse one day, and hence lose confidence in the Chinese market. That hinders further economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Japanese entrepreneurs would lose all opportunities in the Chinese market if Japan did not curb the rise of the rightist tendency.

To better improve bilateral relations, China and Japan should work out a win-win cooperative plan to promote the development of a green economy, new materials and social institutions of elderly health care."

-Wei Jianguo: Vice Chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and Former Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce
